Dr. Rosie Mo Wong

Dr. Wong was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. Coming from a family that experienced many vision-related issues, she decided to pursue optometry as a career while a junior at San Gabriel High School. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Biola University, where she graduated cum laude. She then continued her education on the East Coast, obtaining her doctorate of optometry at SUNY State College of Optometry.

While in graduate school, she completed externships at the Tucson VA Medical Center in Arizona and Wenzhou Medical University in China, and an internship at the University Eye Center in NYC. Her clinical interests include myopia management, ortho-k, and specialty contact lenses. She has over a decade of experience treating patients with ortho-k lenses and loves educating and counseling her patients about their vision and eye health.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Wong is passionate about helping the underserved and has gone on multiple optometric missions trips to Oaxaca, Mexico and previously served as a volunteer optometrist at LA Christian Health Centers near Skid Row.

She is bilingual in English and Mandarin and also speaks clinical Spanish.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, being a local foodie, playing board games, and volunteering at her church. She resides in Monrovia with her family and is excited for the opportunity to serve the surrounding community.
